As a customer of Weyerhaeuser's Trus Joist Commercial Division, you have relied on our team for innovative, dependable products and outstanding customer service.

None of this is going to change.

Last fall, Atlas Holdings -- a private capital firm working with a group of senior leaders and former managers from the Trus Joist business of Weyerhaeuser Company -- began negotiations with Weyerhaeuser to purchase the Commercial business. This purchase has now been completed.

Formerly owned by Weyerhaeuser, the Commercial Division of Trus Joist, now RedBuilt, has been a pioneer in developing wood-based, open-web structural solutions since 1960. It operates four manufacturing plants and 13 design and sales offices throughout the United States and will remain headquartered in Boise, Idaho.

RedBuilt offers the industry's most innovative and leading-edge engineered wood products and building systems for commercial, industrial and multifamily applications. Its offerings include custom open-web trusses, I-joists, LVL and all of the complementary components, as well as product engineering and technical on-site support. In addition, RedBuilt offers a range of concrete shoring and scaffold planking solutions.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU.

Will RedBuilt continue to make the same products?
Yes, and from the same plants as before. You can continue to purchase the full line of Trus Joist products for commercial applications that you rely on today through RedBuilt, including I-joists and open-web trusses.

Will the same technical representative still call on me?
Yes. Our technical representatives and the associates you've come to know will continue to work with you as before.

Will RedBuilt rename the Trus Joist Commercial product lines?
Yes, although not immediately. In the short term, you can continue to spec the Trus Joist commercial products by the names you know. We will send you information shortly on the renaming of our product lines.

RedBuilt has very capable and experienced hands at the wheel. Former Trus Joist Corporation President Tom Denig serves as Chairman of the Board, and a former vice president of Trus Joist by Weyerhaeuser, Bill Walters, serves as Vice Chairman. Kurt Liebich, who ran the commercial operations at Trus Joist by Weyerhaeuser before succeeding Tom as leader of the Trus Joist business for Weyerhaeuser, serves on the Board and is President and CEO of our exciting, new venture.
