An Update on RedCalc
The transition from the Commercial Division of Trus Joist to RedBuilt is no small undertaking, but is well underway. And throughout the transition, there's one question that we've heard consistently: "When will RedCalc be available?"

We're happy to say that answer is very soon.

We have committed every available programming and engineering resource to RedCalc's development. The software will be internally released and tested over the next several months with an external release anticipated near the middle of the year. Once released, small enhancements will be available for download as needed, ensuring that RedCalc will remain a dynamic, full-featured design tool. In the interim, we have a transition agreement that allows us to use the TJ® Beam single member sizing software until late 2010. For assistance with RedBuilt product sizing and best system analysis contact your RedBuilt technical representative.
      Celebrating 50 Years

It all began in 1960. And continues to this day. 2010 marks the 50th Anniversary of the company that revolutionized engineered wood products. And today, RedBuilt continues that heritage and tradition in everything we do.

As we commemorate our 50th Anniversary, stay tuned for news and events, and ways that you'll be able to help us celebrate.

Product Literature Updates

During our transition from the Commercial Division of Trus Joist to RedBuilt, we've been hard at work making sure that our customers have the most complete and accurate literature available for our products.

To that end, the following product literature is available online and in printed versions:
Total Support Brochure
Red-I Joist Specifiers Guide
Open-Web Truss Specifiers Guide
RedLam LVL Specifiers Guide (abridged)
RedBuilt Industrial Forming and Shoring Guide

Additional literature will be coming soon.
New AutoCAD and Revit® Details
Now Available Online

RedBuilt is proud of our industry
reputation in assisting architects and engineers through the various phases of design development and product
best-system analysis. To further that, we now have Revit families available for download for a number of our products. We've also condensed and simplified the Red-I and Open Web Truss details; they are now numbered to match the details as outlined in the respective design guides.

Attachment and fire assembly details are in the works and will be updated on the RedBuilt website.
