![]() California Schools InformationThe California Division of the State Architect's (DSA) Office ensures that California's K-12 schools, community colleges and essential services buildings are seismically safe and accessible to all. It fulfills this role by reviewing construction project design plans using engineered wood for structural safety, fire and life safety, and disabled persons accessibility. DSA created the California Interpretation of Regulations Manual to document acceptable methods and create uniform design and plan review and construction monitoring practices that comply with applicable building codes and regulations.
